Together for Christmas:)

Just after Christmas, I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family!  These two sweet sisters surprised their mom & dad with a family portrait session as a gift.  It isn’t often that this family is all together - one sister and her husband lives on the west coast, and the other is busy completing med-school here in Michigan.  Bonus surprise - that sister also got engaged just days before this session!  We had planned for an outdoor winter portrait - but our Michigan weather had other plans.  It was a brutal -10 degrees, with even colder wind chills, so an indoor location made much better sense. I don’t know who could even fake a smile in those temperatures!!  Their session turned out perfect!
