PAIGE + JORDAN A gorgeous wedding at Dow Diamond Stadium in Midland, MI

    Paige and Jordan’s wedding day was definitely a day that they’ll never forget!  Not only because it was absolutely perfect in every way, but because of everything else going on in the world at the same time.  They will have quite a story to tell their children and grand-children one day, about the pandemic that caused the world to basically come to a halt.  Government restrictions were tightened the very next day (no group functions over 10 people) that would have caused them to have postpone their wedding indefinitely. We were all beyond grateful that their friends and family were still able to come and celebrate with them and yet saddened by the fact so many others will have plans to change in the months ahead.

    One of the sweetest parts of the day for me, was watching Paige get ready.  She wanted a private moment with both her mother and soon to be mother-in-law to help get her into her dress before anyone else saw her.  She then had an emotional first-look with her dad and another with her soon to be father-in-law - followed by a  brief intermission so everyone could dry their tears! Since Paige and Jordan have known each other most of their lives - their families are extremely close and they were all positively thrilled that these two were getting married!  Jordan’s grandmother, however, was unable to attend as it was too much of a health risk for her to leave the nursing home because of the virus threat.  It was touching to watch family members live stream the wedding and reception for her via their phones, so she could still feel like she was part of the day!

     Their reception at the Dow Diamond was so cool! It was the perfect venue for this sports minded couple!  Jordan is a huge baseball fan and played in high school & his brother continues that tradition!  

  My sister and I were honored to be a part of their day!  We had so much fun and more than a few laughs with the wedding party (awesome group of friends) and enjoyed every second with the Hingston and Breternitz families! Many continued blessings to you all!
