NICOLE + DAVID The best of Michigan engagement shoot!

    I had the absolute pleasure of spending two evenings with Nicole and David within the past couple of months.  They wanted to capture the beauty of Michigan in two of the most beautiful seasons - spring and summer!  The color display this spring was more brilliant than it’s been in years - must have been all of the cool, wet weather I guess. Whatever the reason, the blooms put on quite a show! We stayed closer to home for this session and captured some beautiful images!  We had so much fun that evening - even though we had to patiently wait for a break in the gale force winds to capture each shot:)  Nicole and David quickly became pros at using the seconds between each wind gust to nail each shot!  I was super impressed - they are both such naturals in front of the camera!

    Our next session was in the Old Mission Peninsula in the Traverse City area.  This location means so much to Nicole and David as Nicole’s family has a cottage in the area and they spend so much time up north in the summer months!  One thing is for certain, the beauty of northern Michigan never disappoints!  I honestly don’t think we could have had a better day for the session - the weather was PERFECT!  It felt like we had the entire peninsula to ourselves that evening and the time flew by way to fast! 

    Nicole and David are such a sweet couple and couldn’t be a more perfect match!  They are  so loving and thoughtful of one another - their parents should be proud of raising two such spectacular individuals:) Can’t wait to celebrate you’re wedding with you next year!!  I already know the photos are going to be amazing:)
