NICOLE + DAVID - A Springtime Michigan Wedding

What a perfect way to kick off this 2021 wedding season!! Nicole and David’s wedding day was absolutely spectacular from start to finish! Their original wedding day was supposed to have been in last June - but they postponed their celebration a year because of all of the COVID limitations and keeping everyone as safe as possible was their top priority.

These two were so unbelievably chill all day and just overjoyed to finally become husband and wife. One of the most special things that I witnessed that day , was the amount of love not only Nicole and David share - but the love their families have for each other as well.  Their families have known each other since their kids were young and their son’s were in baseball together.  There is something so special when a couple can share that kind of familiarity, closeness and history between them.  One of my favorite images from the day, is when their parents shared a group hug on the dance floor that evening. Everyone could feel their joy and emotion! So many joyous tears shed that day!

We were certainly blessed with great weather but a little surprised that the temperature climbed to almost 90 degrees!  That’s not even a little typical for May in Michigan!! (on a side note- 6 days later as I sit here writing this - it is a rainy, wet, & a miserable 48 degrees outside!!!) During our portrait time, we knew how extremely hot everyone was - but this couple and their friends never complained!  In fact, David kept my sister and I laughing so much that we could have easily stayed out there all day -  just for the entertainment!  I also want to give a little shout out to Nicole’s matron of honor Stephanie (David’s sister)!  She took her duties to the next level and jumped in to take over our job of making sure every detail of Nicole’s dress and hair etc., was as perfect as it could be for each picture:) Not surprised knowing she is mom to two adorable little boys under the age of 3- multi-tasking is her middle name!   And I must add - despite the heat - Nicole always looked stunning:)

Nicole and David - your wedding day was certainly worth the wait!!  Every detail was perfect:) Enjoy the beginning of your new life as Mr. & Mrs. and the summer ahead!  *You’ll most likely find these two on the golf course any given day.  It might be a slight obsession that they share together:) Nicole played throughout high school on the golf team and how awesome is it that they both share such a love for the sport!

Enjoy just some of my favorite images from their day!  It was beyond difficult choosing which few to post!!
