JANAE + TORRI A downtown Detroit engagement session.

    Happy Monday!  I’m so excited to share Janae and Torri’s engagement session! We have another session scheduled later this summer with their 2 “fur babies”,  but I couldn’t resist sharing part one early! I have so many favorites - I had difficulty choosing a sample for this post!  These two are such a dream couple and a complete joy to work with!  I haven’t laughed so much in a long time - even though it was a scorcher outside - the time just  flew by!  Both Janae and Torri live and work in the Detroit area, so it made sense that we used an area there for our first location!  There is so much beauty in downtown Detroit - I was in heaven shooting there!  

     Janae and Torri are both from Midland and went to high school together - where they began their story.  They dated for a while before going off to college.  It wasn’t until right after college graduation that they re-connected and began dating again - much to the excitement of both of their families!:) These two adore each other and it is obvious to all who see them together!  They have a beautiful life ahead:)

    I have personally known Torri since the day he was born - he’s like a member of my family:)  So as you can imagine, I am counting down the days until their wedding next summer!  It’s going to be quite a celebration and I am honored to be able to document it all for them!!
