BEFORE AND AFTER - The importance of editing and getting the images you deserve!

    After your wedding or photography session is over, and my camera is tucked back in my bag, my other job is just beginning - EDITING! 

     There is no magic “filter” that can be slapped on a photo and make it perfect - believe me!  Rather, there are many hours of education and hard work that go into shooting and editing your images, to ensure the end result is the way you deserve and expect it to be.  On any given shoot or wedding day, everything can change hour to hour and often in a split second. Things like cloud cover, bright or hazy sun, open areas, shaded areas, and indoor light - just to name a few.  Additionally,  every hour that the sun changes position in the sky, the color temperature changes along with it, which can affect all of the colors in an image.  It’s your photographers job to know how to deal with all of these situations - so that every image you receive is consistent and gorgeous!

      I meticulously go thru each and every image (and on a wedding day that is well over 1000) to make sure each one will be perfect.  That means the colors are as they should be, skin tones are luminous, and all the the images are consistent throughout your entire gallery!

    So, if you’re ever wondering why it takes up to 6 weeks before I deliver your entire gallery - just know that I’m hard at work - making sure you’ll receive the gorgeous images you deserve!  (But I’ll always deliver a handful of sneak peaks within a few days of your shoot or wedding!  So you’ll have something to enjoy while you wait:)
